Sometimes the simplest recipes are the best, like this summer tomato salad made with fresh tomatoes, herbs, topped with olive oil and balsamic oil. I can’t think of a better my way through the rest of my tomatoes. This simple summer tomato salad is so fresh and flavourful I could eat it every day through September.

My garden produced hundreds of cherry tomatoes, I love walking by the garden and popping a few in my mouth.This summer tomato salad is super simple to make and is bursting with flavour. Your guests will be talking about this salad for days to come.
- 6 heriloom toatoes, sliced
- 3 cups of cherry tomatoes ( I used a combination of sungold and cherry)
- 1/2 cup mini bocochini
- 1/2 cup chopped basil
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 1 TBSP balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Place heriloom tomatoes on serving platter. Add cherry tomatoes.
- Place bocochini throughout platter.
- Add fresh basil
- In a small bowl combine olive and vinegar. Sprinkle over salad.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
