It is Mother’s day this weekend and I am looking forward to a delicious breakfast followed by some quality family time spent outdoors. What are you doing to celebrate Mother’s day? How about spoiling mom with breakfast in bed or a picnic at the beach, I hear the weather is going to be amazing this weekend. I have rounded up some of our own recipes and recipes from around the web to make your mom feel loved and special, because mom’s deserve a lot of love.
Brunch:
How about making mom some granola with greek yogurt and topped with fresh fruit. Or how about whole wheat pancakes topped with fresh blueberries and maple syrup. This vegetable egg benedict from Sprouted Kitchen looks delicious too.
Lunch:
How about a nice roasted beet and quinoa salad or roasted sweet potato and kale salad? These salads are great for a picnic at the beach or park. Pair the salad with some fresh fruit and a slice of banana bread. These healthy granola bars are perfect for snacking.
